Teenagers and Hobbies

The life of every teenager today is a lot different than it was ever before. It is different than it was even a decade ago, not to mention 25 or 50 years ago. However, there are some typical activities that teenagers still keep doing no matter in what times we live in. As always, teenagers spend their time watching TV, hanging out with their friends, spending time with their family, and engaging in physical activities like sports. Most teenagers also spend their time on their hobbies, and like to talk on the phone.

What is different about teenagers these days is that they usually read a lot less books and magazines, but spend more time in front of their computer. Many teenagers like to chat on the Internet, play games, and visit various social networking sites. Some studies suggest that those who spend a lot of their free time in front of their computer are obtaining worse grades at school. This might be true because computer games are so engaging and interesting that they leave little time for a person to do his homework.

There has to be moderation in everything we do, and this includes entertainment. Of course, working/studying too much is also not the right thing to do.
